Make-up Tips for Working Abroad

Make-up tips for working abroad from Kate Benton when she was filming in Morocco last month

I wish I had brought IPA with me (although as it's alcohol you have to be careful when transporting). The alcohol they had in Morocco is weaker so doesn t work as well.

Chamois leathers are great, it's so hot over there so a chamois dipped in water and cologne, spun through the air and then put on pulse points ( back of neck and wrist) keep the actor cool and they love it.

PPI slow activator is a must, it's the best product to use with your skin illustrator palette, as the pigment stays on the skin better than it does with IPA. The slow activator works well in the hotter climate.

We used the Maqpro dirt grime and guy liner palette (Cheryl Mitchell's) a lot and the Moroccans fell in love with this palette because of the brilliant selection of colours, especially as I was doing a biblical drama.
